YPFRIENDS REFORMED YOUTH EVENTS IN SOUTHERN ONTARIO

Event:

Praise & Fellowship Evening

Speaker: Joe Boot
Date:
Friday April 15, 2005
Place: Balls Falls Barn
Time: 7:30 p.m.
Contact: Mike

Why am I here? It's the most basic question of human existence.

Join us, 7:30 PM, Friday, April 15 at the historic Ball’s Falls barn near Vineland as we explore the meaning of life with evangelist and apologist Joe Boot in a message called 'Is there meaning for man under the sun?'

Joe is the Canadian Director of Ravi Zacharias International Ministries and is known for his clear communication of the Christian faith in a way that makes sense of human experience. He lives in Toronto with his wife Jenny and daughter Naomi.

The event is being organized as a community outreach and as an opportunity for local churches to gather together in the Name of Christ.

The evening will feature a number of local musicians, including Jeremy Bout, who hope to to lead us in a number of worship songs and hymns.

Our special musical guest will be local recording artist Mike Fluit, who has had his songs played on Christian radio stations right across the country.
Here's Mike's website if you want to check it out: http://www.mikefluit.com.

Cost for the evening ~ $5 per person.
Hot and cold refreshments will be provided!

I believe this event, although informal and in a relaxed setting, will be a powerful opportunity to gather together as one body united in putting the focus on Christ. Please keep Friday, April 15th open and let others know, especially those who may be struggling in their faith.

For everyone requesting directions:

From Toronto, take the QEW Niagara-bound through Oakville and Burlington, over the Hamilton Skyway Bridge, through Stoney Creek, Grimsby and Beamsville. Exit the QEW at Victoria Avenue (Exit 57) in Vineland. From the off-ramp, turn right onto the South Service Road and then immediately turn left onto Victoria Avenue. Follow Victoria Avenue South, away from Lake Ontario toward the Niagara Escarpment. Drive through Vineland and up the Niagara Escarpment, past the water tower. Ball's Falls Conservation area will be on the left, about one kilometre from the crest of the escarpment. Follow the road into the park. The barn will be on the right.

Please get back to me with any questions!
